THE TRADITION OF MEJAGA-JAGA

The tradition of Mejaga-jaga is a tradition of Mecaru Mejaga jaga held in the village of Pakraman Besang Kawan Tohjiwa Klungkung, coinciding with Tilem Sasih Karo On August 18, 2020. This tradition is held every year with the aim of avoiding havoc for the villagers. The procession of mejaga –jaga is began carried out around 07.00 local time. This tradition uses a selected cow. The agreement of the villagers do not change the series of traditions that have been passed down for generations.
